Objectives of Scheme:
- To assure a respectful life financial assistance are provided to severe and multi-disabled persons who are living below poverty line.
Eligibility of the Beneficiaries:
- Severe (disability 80% and above) and multi-disabled persons of age group 18 to 79 years
Benefits Under the Scheme:
- Rs. 500 per month (Central Contribution - Rs. 300, State Contribution - Rs. 200)
Selection Process:
- The urban bodies / village panchayats will forward the application to the respective ULBs/Janpad panchayats with their recommendation. The respective urban bodies / Janpad panchayats have the right to accept / reject the same.
